A Wilderness Voice 
Over the past several months my wife, Dorothy, and I have been busy down sizing and getting ready to move. We have been busy getting our house ready to sell, listing and selling it in northern Idaho and the market turned into a “buyers market” in the process. After it sold came the move to Texas so that we could be closer to our son and daughter and their families. We first moved all our belongings in our daughter and son-in-law’s shop building while we searched for a home that was suitable. Our family was a great help and blessing through this whole process. Finding the right place was quite involved because most of the places we were shown were in rundown neighborhoods or had something major wrong with them. I am of the age (78) where my tired body doesn’t need any more home improvement projects.
During this time I have found that Susanne and I have been inspired by the same spiritual insights and it was easier for me to just put my thoughts in a comment on her blog site for each of the things we were both hearing from the Lord. But now that things have settled down in our new home here in Texas I hope to have more time to write. This article by the two of us seemed to come together quite well and so she posted it on “Entering the Promised Land” and I “re-blogged” it on AWV. I hope you are blessed by it.
