The New Version of WordPress Blog Editor Is a Mess!

Some of you have noticed that I posted a new title for a blog I just wrote and it had no teaching with it. I am sorry for the inconvience. I have not been able to make their “latest and greatest” improved version work. If I can find help I will post this article later, Lord willing.

  1. Yes, Michael, as you told me before, it is rather a WordMess than WordPress. I just tried to edit two comments before moderating them. But although I hit the buttons ‘in charge’ regarding bold letters or italics (for quotes and Scriptures), nothing happened. After trying and re-trying several times. I gave up on it for now. πŸ˜›

Lord willing… waiting for His proper timing, I will try it later again, too. πŸ˜‰

    • Fixed it, not by clicking on WordPress buttons, but by using html formatting commands.

      HTML Formatting Elements

Formatting elements were designed to display special types of text:

      – Bold text
      – Important text
      – Italic text
      – Emphasized text
      – Marked text
      – Smaller text
      – Deleted text
      – Inserted text
      – Subscript text
      – Superscript text

Thank God for His help! πŸ™‚

Thanks, Susanne. I saved that “w3schools” page in my “Internet tools” web folder. You are a pretty intelligent sister, for sure. Why? Because you know how to seek the Lord instead of cursing the darkness. I have learned a lot from your example, dear sister. 💗

      • That was cute, thank you, Michael! πŸ™‚

Indeed, I thought why not addressing the One who has ALL the intellligence of the universe. Compared to Him, even the smartest human being knows nothing.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” (James 1:5 ESV) ❀

Susanne, thanks for this important reminder. In my old nature my first reaction is to curse the darkness instead of seeking His Light. I thank our Daddy for the fellowship we share in the Spirit. God has used you in my life more than you will ever know.

      • You are welcome, Michael. Btw, my first reaction is the same as yours, always. But as my fits of anger are not really helpful, I sooner or later am reminded BY GOD to call on Him instead. πŸ™‚

Just yesterday my hubby Paul and I spent hours in front of his computer in order to find out why he could not print anything anymore while I could (from my other computer). We realized that the reason might have been a new Windows 10 update, but only after prayer, we found the reason rather quickly. So, I have been trained to pray for God’s help regarding computers since yesterday, so to speak. πŸ˜‰

And, of course, I had similar problems you had as I tried to edit and publish my latest post last week. πŸ˜›

Once again they “fixed” things until they were broke! Learning to seek the Spirit of all knowledge and comfort instead of beating our heads against the wall for hours is the lesson He is teaching us.

But the word of the prophet [the Spirit speaking] gives men knowledge and comfort and strength. (1Cor 14:3, BBE)

Yes, dear sister, the same thing happened to me. I wish their techs would learn the wisdom in the saying “If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it!”
