When we as bloggers moderate comments that are a mixture of spirit and flesh or are totally divisive in nature, Susanne has shown how Psalm One applies. Here in this article she shows how easy it is to partake in the sin and council of the ungodly, give them a place to make their stand on our blogs and how we can eventually sit down with them in agreement in their wickedness against the gospel of Christ. Oh how important it is as followers of Christ to walk in Spirit AND in truth!

A Wilderness Voice 
I don’t post very often but do enjoy watching our blessed Head leading you Bro and our sis Susanne into His perfect will as you continue to walk in that which He shows you. But this article is the best yet, imho. It seems to me that an incredible separation is going on that is continuing to draw many of us back to Christ as our 1st Love once more. Total obedience to our Head once more. This obedience is powered by a love and grace that is mind-boggling.
While some are leaving all (all that comes from their “before Christ” life) to follow Him, I see others who are desiring, in a weird sort of way, to become more religious. It’s like some folks just have to have something other than our Lord Jesus reigning over them. It happens easily and naturally to our “old man.” This separation looks to me like it is slowly drawing closer to Fruition.
Oh the joy of Christ Jesus as our Head in all things. He is a living Head and we are His Body. Our Lord Jesus as Head is life more abundantly. There is an eternity of difference between the Living Christ Jesus and the historical Jesus found in the broken cisterns offered by religion. May God continue to bless you two Family members (Michael & Susanne) and all other Family members who are leaving all to follow our blessed Redeemer. Glory to the Lamb!

What a wonderful comment you wrote. Thank you for your kind reply. I am glad you were led to do so. Yes, God is doing all He can to draw us out and away from all that is false no matter how good it seems or feels unto His loving Son as His bride who only has love for Him. In some cases He even works it so that the false thing we loved turns on us and manifests its real heart so we will look to the One who truly loves us. You are right, what a difference when we turn from the broken cisterns carved out by men and the Fountain of Living Water.

This testifies with my spirit and has been a common discussion amongst the family here in our area…I also find this quote I read on today from another brothers writings very complimenting to this blog. “Jesus invited His disciples to ‘be with Him’ in His life and mission instead of trying to set aside extra time to disciple them. He integrated the disciples into His life, rather than making them an extra appendage to His schedule. Jesus made a massive sacrifice to create this space for the disciples, but they would have to make an equally significant sacrifice in order to be with Jesus. This is the nature of a disciplining relationship. It requires significant proximity.” – Eric Pfeiffer

Alan, thanks for your input. It was good to hear that you can see the Spirit leading us in what we share. I agree with what Eric wrote… in other words, Jesus was a brother to them and they were family, not an institution based on schedules and a set curriculum dictated without any thought of the Spirit flowing among them. As for proximity, oh that we could have more of that, my brother! This physical isolation from the saints that we feel so close to is not the way it should be, but for now God seems to be working deep in us individually so that when we are joined it will be a divine fit.

Amen and Amen, the Bride is making herself ready, apart for now, being perfected yet having the oneness Jesus prayed about ““My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” We are together in Him…Them. We were discussing this very thing last night as some of us communed together. Even when we are not physically together, if we are in Him, we are together. We are never alone. It seems a mystery to some, but not us. Be encouraged my Brother.
“For this reason [grasping the greatness of this plan by which Jews and Gentiles are joined together in Christ] I bow my knees [in reverence] before the Father [of our Lord Jesus Christ], from whom every family in heaven and on earth [a]derives its name [God—the first and ultimate Father]. Thanks for the great reminder, Alan. This passage from John 17 God has had me meditating on for the last three years! I can’t get away from it, what it means to be ONE with the saints of God even as Jesus and the Father are one as we are one in them. This kind of unity effeminately defies the limitations of time and space.
